The first New Zealand International Festival of the Arts way back in 1990 gave birth to The Improvisors. 

 

Six local actors formed a company to provide an alternative to the corporate entertainment, training and team building on offer at that time. Using our training and experience in Theatresports, we began by bringing tailor-made, improvised comedy to conferences, office functions and product launches throughout the country.

 

We developed an upbeat and exciting approach to training which emphasised team building and problem solving.

 

As well as a busy corporate clientele, comprising of hundreds and hundreds of satisfied clients, The Improvisors also perform our improvised Murder Mystery show in collaboration with Wallaceville House.

 

We continue to stage successful seasons of Theatresports and other Improv Comedy at Circa Theatre.

 

It's been had a great ride and it was with great pride we celebrated our Silver Jubilee. As we head to our Golden we are excited to meet the needs and challenges of old and new clients.
